can the weather outside sometimes affect the weather inside … i often wonder if this may be true … most folks round here in the Chicago area seem to be in a better mood or frame of mind if you will when the weather is pleasant … is this strange or is this normal, is there some kind of connection here … also, the sound of thunder itself seems to rattle my senses when it sounds in the background proclaiming that rain is on its way … it has been raining here for the last several days as my lawn is practically howling for a haircut so the mower will be churning soon … thanks for your wonderful comment as always Francina:)
I think the weather can indeed affect some people’s inside… it’s as you said, when the weather is pleasant people are mostly more pleasant as well. It’s it strange? I don’t know but sometimes the weather has influence on our mood. My mother would always say when we were youngsters and a kind of rowdy, there must be a storm on it’s way.
i must admit, when it is nice outside my mood seems to elevate to a higher level as well … yes, there seems to be a connection between weather outside and moods inside … my gram used to say the same thing when my bro and i would get rowdy and wrestle all around the house when we were youngsters, she figured there must be a storm on its way and quite often she was right ….
Jim what a beautiful and thoughtful poem. You are so kind and thoughtful to compose such a lovely work of art, and I’m honored to have provided some inspiration. Your healing thoughts will go a long way in guiding my healing path. Thank you so much!! RL
Robyn, you have inspired so many others on their own healing paths while you have been on yours …. many more people then you may know of for sure and this is one of the most precious gifts anyone on this magnificent planet can give and we all thank you for the generosity and courage you share …. this humble writing i produced here was not an option for me, it was a necessity … i had to let it out …. thanks again and best wishes remain flowing your way!! JB
this prayer poem is inspired by Robyn Lee,
a fellow wordpress member and friend of mine ….
she has looked adversity in the eye with a wink and a smile,
this is courage in its finest moments and we hope she will
continue to do so with bravery, strength, and faith ….

I love the way how you used the weather elements in your poem. Wonderfully done.
