out in the gold mind

along side fun traveling companions, proper equipment and supplies, vacationing with attitudes overflowing with sunlight, moonshine and quite occasional enlightening bolt thunders …. the journey can definitely be well worth the trip indeed …. Jimi

Ah, two poems I’ve read from you and they both show thinking outside the box. I’m liking it!

box …. a box is usually square or rectangular, we live in a round world that spins and this is how our thought patterns should be to stay in tune, in harmony …. glad you like bellesogni ….:)

I’m interested in almost any poetry mentioning gold and/or silver.

thanks again Don for the cool comment, notice how the water on this particular river becomes so absolutely calm towards sundown …. and the tree tops become golden in color even though it is summer, just the feeling of floating there at that particular moment in time is truly magical and really cannot be described adequately in words or video or a photograph …. one has to actually be there to experience the essence, and that is why i go there …. to experience the essence,

your not that way off i guess, i’m in the united states of america just not from north carolina even though would like to visit there someday … i am from the south side of chicago, and if you ever heard that tune by Jim Croce called Bad, Bad Leroy Brown it mentions how it can be the baddest part of town …. anyhoot, these river photos were shot up in the upper peninsula of michigan, they call it the U. P. …. wedged in between Lake Ontario, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron this section of land is kind of shaped like a rabbit …. check it out on the map, you’ll see …. if you ever want to experience some true wonders of nature, visit the region surrounding the town of Crystal Falls and you could quite possibly become addicted to the mere thought of returning there again and again and again ….

i was a little off. you are west of me. i’ve heard jim croce, so, you must be around my age. 52 here. i’ve heard of the upper pennisula. i had a very distant cousin that did some research on the species of flowers up around that region. i’m outside of erie pa. that is sandwiched in between cleveland and buffalo right in the middle. so it’s cool that were somewhat neighbors. it certainly would be a nice place to venture to. i’ll admit i hate places that have all of them expressways running every which way. i get really nervous in that. you will probably notice with my poetics they vary in range. i want range because i don’t want to get pinned down in one area. this way i can put different feels toward different books. if that makes sense.

yes we are from the same region basically, experiencing weather extremes from sometimes unbearably hot and humid to wind chills that can go straight through the bones so the range factor is definitely there to be experienced … there really is no expressways up in the U.P. , only roads that seem to go on forever similar to the “the midnight rider” song by the allman brothers band … ” out in the gold mind ” somewhat concludes my river adventure series for the time being so i too may venture into other areas … some not too conventional, some controversial, some that may stir the soup so to speak …. range can be good, and you definitely have it and i commend you for it, thanks again for your comments Don, greatly appreciated for sure ….
