Beautifully expressed , Jimi. Very though provoking words. Time is like a gate a between past and future , I think. No matter how many bridges we build or burn in our life..time will always keep the gate open.
thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment as always Francina, every time i go to this particular bridge there are always birds flying around and ducks floating, trees swaying in the breeze and just on the other side is a waterfall that flows into the river …. just the mere act of strolling across is an honor so magical it can’t really be described in words, it is just a feeling so grand that i keep going back for more …. and i agree with you about keeping the gate open while building bridges is a worthwhile experience to enjoy and participate in with full spirited joy ….:)
the sounds, the sights, the fragrances, the serenity, the action, and the pure feelings felt here at this place truly is gorgeous indeed Francina …. anytime you are in the Chicago area, i will take you there if you wish to go …. 🙂

Ahh – another blessed bridge ~ and this one we can cross by foot.

giggling inside, actually this bridge is the same one as in the previous post but shot from a different angle with a little more action going on …. this particular sanctuary of sorts is only a brief stroll from my front door and i go there quite often alone or with friends, either way i truly do enjoy going there …. it really is a slice of heaven and all my senses and emotions become quite engaged here with each and every breath, very glad you enjoyed dear Robyn and sending you good thoughts as well my friend …. :o)
yes Don, the bridge of life is much different than a vcr or dvd player if you will …. there is no rewind, fast forward or basically not even a pause button …. only play in motion, moving along at a pace as steady as a healthy heartbeat can be …. thanks for your cool comment as always ….:)
