Butterflies are singing a song in tune with the whispering of trees that awaits to bloom.
I got my strings to tie a loom, over the branches if there is room
otherwise, I will take cover under that shade..and listen to trees whisper from there again
thank you kalabalu for sharing such wonderful thoughts here on this post, i enjoyed them very much so …. many folks may not even be aware that trees whisper amongst themselves or that they listen to their surroundings quite contently most of the time as i believe that they do having shared space within their domain on many an occasion …. when the breeze stirs, the songs they sing become even more evident to the concert goer who wishes to experience some ear enhancing, mind opening vibes that literally shake the leaves right from their extended branches like pages in a story ever turning …. 🙂 Jimi
yes kalabalu, trees breathe and listen and whisper …. they help provide shade, add beauty and strength to the landscape among many other things as well ….:)
Good to see a post from you again, Jimi . Lovely expressed the change of seasons. Yes, the butterflies are adding so much beauty to our surroundings most of the year.
Ciao, Francina
the butterflies are changing colors Francina, and they are ready to fly …. so beautiful they are and seasonal reminders to us all if we listen closely …. thank you for the kind comment my friend, wishing you well as always …. 🙂
thanks for the kind comment nightlake, i’ve been staying busy …. working, writing, capturing lots of photographs, video and audio, having fun and all sorts of stuff …. yes indeed, have fallen a bit behind in the posting department but still enjoy the wonderful community here at WordPress …. very enlightening and supportive group of folks here including yourself and i do appreciate it very much …. hope you are doing okay and wishing you well …. 🙂
Anticipating the parade of rainbows this month dear Jim… This is was awesome to read. I also love your capture of the boom box and the way it looses a bit of focus with the crisp background of fall foliage crisp and clear. Lovely post — I will look for those butterflies – promise! xo 🙂
oh Robyn, there is no doubt this is my favorite time of year around here …. the crispness in the air and the colors, the most magnificent colors indeed …. there is something in this particular picture i certainly did not notice when capturing it, notice the antenna …. the way it seems to be glowing almost like a laser beam as it picks up the whispers …. i still have the owner’s manual to this boomer and it clearly states that it picks up AM and FM signals but does not mention tree whispers at all …. maybe this certain device has a bit of magical powers to it after all …. and yes, the parade of rainbows has begun here in the Chicago area especially during this week as the cooler temperatures settle in …. will try and capture some of the beauty as it occurs and post some soon i hope, warm wishes being sent your way as always my friend …. xo 🙂
good one jimi to reflect all the wonderful times of the 3 seasons. it took me a bit to actually see that boom box. an amazing kind of view came to me if you take out the antenna and the handle it kinda looks like the back end of a car.
my friends and i frequent these woods quite often during good weather conditions to get out for some fresh air, barbecue, throw the frisbee around, toss some horse shoes, listen to some tunes and just about anything else we feel like doing at the time …. there is also a large bike trail labyrinth surrounding and penetrating this particular section of the forest so there is plenty of exercise to be had as well …. that ole boomer you see pictured in the foreground can still pump out the jams pretty good and when squinting a bit maybe the back end of a car does come into view …. maybe an early edition Chevy Corvette or possibly the bumble bee back end of a Dodge Challenger perhaps …. thanks for your interesting comment as always Don ….:)
